WHAT: Night Contact Film Festival

WHERE: Gillett Square, Gillett Square, London, N16 8AZ

Since we’re a bit obsessed with finding hidden things here at ALS we can’t possibly pass up this chance to witness the next gen photography and multi-media buffs soak up the limelight in Dalston this Friday. Massive screens set up in Gillett Square will be projecting the works of a whole lot of well-choosen newbies – anyone can apply – which is always fun – because who knows what you might find. As well as a curated programme displayed in venues such as The Vortex Jazz Club, Dalston Boys Cluns and the Bird Cafe. Local streets are jumping on the festival-wagon too, with bars turned into live music venues, street food, stalls and vouchers for near-by watering holes – we’ll be rocking our Art-Critic (Elle) avec Navajo (Rue) vibe bobbing our head along to the music, safe in the knowlege that the main after party only costs a fiver.
