Holi moli! Paint fight!!!

HoliFestival_20110319

You have definitely seen this image before. People in the streets of India having a massive paint fight and everyone is involved. Mum, dad, granny, brothers and sisters, all taking part and it looks epic. Definitely something I’ve wanted to do but personally feared the clean-up bill.

For those of you who don’t know, this is actually part of a Hindu festival called Holi. Holi celebrates the end of winter and the beginning of Spring. Spring being the time of all things bright and wonderful means that Holi is also known as the festival of colour. So now the sun is shining and spring is in the air, why not get involved in the festivities and have a paint fight of your own.
